This Privacy Policy explains how solvingtheheartpuzzle.com (the “site”), operated by Words of Wisdom Press on behalf of Bill Code MD, handles personal information. The site exists to share news about the book Solving the Heart Puzzle.

What we collect

The only personal information we actively collect is the email address you choose to give us through the signup form on this site. The form is provided by Kit (formerly ConvertKit), our email service provider, which stores your address on our behalf. We do not ask for your name, postal address, phone number, or payment details on this site.

Why we collect it

We use your email address for one purpose only: to send you a one-time notification when the book is released, and optionally a small number of related pre-order or launch updates. That is all.

• We do not sell, rent, or share your email address with any third party.
• We do not send any other mail, advertising, or unrelated newsletters.

How to unsubscribe

Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link in the footer. Selecting it removes you from the list immediately, with no further mail. You may also write to info@solvingtheheartpuzzle.com and we will remove you.

Legal compliance (CASL & CAN-SPAM)

Because you opt in by submitting the form, our messages are sent with your express consent in accordance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL). Our emails also identify the sender, state their purpose, and provide a working unsubscribe mechanism as required by the U.S. CAN-SPAM Act.

Hosting and analytics

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-respecting analytics service that measures aggregate traffic without setting third-party advertising cookies and without building a profile of you across other sites.

How your data is handled (PIPEDA)

Personal data is handled by Words of Wisdom Press (Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada) in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We keep your email only as long as needed for launch communications, and we protect it through our email provider’s security measures.

Access, correction, and deletion

You may request access to the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it entirely. To do so, write to info@solvingtheheartpuzzle.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.
